Meeting with Guide Dogs Australia
We recently had the pleasure of having a morning with the very informative team of Ashleigh, Brent and Olivia from Guide Dogs Australia. They have many upcoming projects to assist low vision, no vision and blind clients. It was great to learn about the important work they do and explore potential collaborations. Thank you to Guide Dogs Australia for a lovely morning tea. It's all about giving back to the community and working towards a common goal - helping our vision impaired community.

Garden vegetable growth and problems
Our veggie patch has been a mixed bag lately! The winds have been hot and drying making watering a more common event. Our herbs are growing beautifully and some of our tomatoes are thriving. The silverbeet is holding it's own and the beans are heading for the clouds. However, we've also had a bit of a blue with some pesky shield bugs trying to crash the party. We're tackling them with some organic solutions, so fingers crossed we can keep our veggies happy and healthy. Stay tuned for more garden goss!

More updates to come
That's all for now, folks! We'll be back with more VIAA news updates and garden progress soon. Keep an eye out for future posts, and don't be a stranger – give Chris a call if you would like to call out and have a cuppa! Just because you can't see doesn't mean you don't have ideas or information about gardening. We are open to suggestions.
